Structural Insulated Panels (SIPS)
Hibbs General Contracting is a member of SIPA, the Structural Insulated Panel Association. SIPs are an insulated foam core sandwiched between interior and exterior structural sheathing, which are often times made of oriented strand board (commonly referred to as OSB).
SIPs provide an extremely strong, energy efficient and cost effective element for your building, and can be fabricated by our team to fit nearly any building design.
Structural Insulated Panel construction is generally of an equivalent cost to traditional wood frame construction, despite higher material cost, because of the shorter construction time, which results in reduced construction labor costs.
